A Regional Consultative Meeting of CHED Chairman with higher education institutions of Region 10 and ARMM will be held on February 6, 2009 at the Little Theater, Xavier University, Cagayan de Oro City.
Participants to this meeting will be the heads of private higher education institutions and presidents of state colleges and universities of Region 10 and ARMM.
The meeting will be attented by the following personalities: CHED Chairman Emmanuel Y. Angeles; Dr. William C. Medrano, CHED Commissioner-in-charge Region10; Atty. Julito D. Vitriolo, Executive Director; Dr. Eloisa W. Paderanga, CHEDRO 10 Regional Director; Dr. Norma Sharief, CHED ARMM Chairman; Fr. Jose Ramon T. Villarin, President, Xavier University, Dr. Ricardo A. Pama, Special Technical Consultant; and, Atty. Gonzalo T. Duque, Special Tech. & Legislation Consultant.
Highlights of the meeting are as follows: Presentation of the Roadmap of the New Philippine Education Highway, Rationalization of the Regional Association of Higher Education Institutions (RAHEIs), Organizational Meeting of RAHEIs and Election of Officers for AY 2009 to 2011, Briefing of the Regional and National HEIs of the Academic and Cultural Activities Schedule and Faculty Development, Election of New Officers of Private Schools Athletic Association (PRISAA), Organizational Meeting of State Colleges and Universities Athletic Association (SCUAA), and Election of Officers of SCUAA.
